Character Continues to Fight and Cant Make It Stop is It a Glitch Neverwinter

In anime, conflict is often driven by the insatiable desire of an antagonizing character to do battle. Whether hero or villain, they'll often charge headfirst into conflict or use whatever chance they have to start one themselves. Such characters have started so many fights that it can even be defined as a cornerstone of their personalities.

Through analyzing these belligerent outliers and the circumstances surrounding them, we gain a better understanding of their motivations and what compels them to be so aggressive in their approach. Moreover, we observe the consequences of their disposition.

10/10 Sasuke Loved To Test His Strength Through Combat (Naruto)

While Sasuke doesn't often receive a keen thrill over combat itself, he knew it to be important nonetheless. Every battle was an opportunity to hone his strength for when he would need it against his brother, Itachi Uchiha.

As his journey with Team Seven continued, he became dissatisfied with his progress and eventually defected to Orochimaru. Ironically, he'd also fight his new master once he felt like he learned what he needed from him.

9/10 Eren Took On Any Challengers No Matter How Great Or Small (Attack On Titan)

Eren fights Jean at cadet corps barracks

Eren was obsessed with fighting and used it to define his personality. He was notorious for his bloodlust, with both Hannes and Shadis noting his perseverance despite a lack of skill. The young man's motivation allowed him to transcend his limitations and become Paradis' strongest warrior.

Even before learning about his Attack Titan powers, Eren was willing to return to Shiganshina in order to avenge his mother's murder. He also fanatically murmured, "Fight" to himself in the mirror, much to the intrigue and alarm of Hange.

8/10 Galand Was The Only Member Of The Ten Commandments Bold Enough To Face Meliodas Alone (Seven Deadly Sins)

Galand was handily the most intrepid member of the Ten Commandments. After their arrival to Britannia, he displayed a willingness to fight against the Seven Deadly Sins alone, even without his comrades' assistance. Perhaps more impressively yet, he won their first encounter.

However, Galand's arrogance would later prove his downfall. Once he discovered Escanor cowering in a bar, he challenged him to a game where they would exchange blows. After the sun rose, Escanor's Grace transformed and imbued him with the strength to rip Galand in half instantly.

7/10 Bakugo Antagonizes Everyone In U.A High (My Hero Academia)

Bakugo from My Hero Academia.

Bakugo's overconfident personality stems from a desire to be the best. If he can't defeat the other students of U.A High, he thinks it will be impossible to become the next Number One hero and follow in All Might's footsteps.

Unfortunately, this gives him an inferiority complex that serves as a crux for immense conflict. Bakugo antagonized Deku for most of their childhood and even picked fights with students from other classes and schools. As a consequence, he began many rivalries where they weren't needed, especially with Class 1-B.

6/10 Zoro Fights Enemies Out Of His League To Prove His Swordsman Skill (One Piece)

Like Bakugo, Zoro has a singular desire to prove himself as the greatest warrior that the world had ever known. However, this almost immediately got him killed when encountering Mihawk during Don Krieg's attack on the Baratie.

Although Zoro's failure was as decisive as it was horrifying, Mihawk respected his courage in the face of death. Despite being permanently scarred for his recklessness, the swordsman continued to pick fights on a whim (especially with the Straw Hats' chef, Sanji).

5/10 Inuyasha Never Backed Down From Enemies Or Friends (Inuyasha)

Inuyasha

As a half-demon, Inuyasha was particularly crass and insecure about his lot in life. He never shied away from the notion of a battle (especially when he was personally insulted) and didn't flinch when calling out teammates for their mischief.

The best example can be seen through his rivalry with Shippo, where the two would constantly take turns antagonizing each other. He also didn't put up with Sesshomaru's superiority complex and was even responsible for cutting off one of his arms in a tense and harrowing duel.

4/10 Inosuke Prefers Violence Much More Than Reason (Demon Slayer)

Inosuke fights Tanjiro for nezuko

Inosuke enjoys fighting much more than attempting diplomacy with his enemies. This was first proven in his debut, where he beat Zenitsu to a pulp in order to uncover (and presumably attack) Nezuko.

His bloodlust almost got him killed when facing off against Rui's Spider Demon "father," as his skin was too thick to pierce in a single stroke. Should the heroes not have been rescued by their comrades, Inosuke could have faced dire consequences.

3/10 Motoyasu Looked For Whatever Reason He Could Find To Fight Naofumi (The Rising Of The Shield Hero)

Motoyasu was easily the most aggressive and least intelligent member of the Cardinal Heroes. After hearing Myne's fabricated claim about being assaulted, he challenged Naofumi to a duel without questioning anything.

Even after Naofumi made numerous attempts to demonstrate the strength of his character, Motoyasu refused to believe him and continued to insist on battle. His reasoning became so bizarre and warped that he claimed his opponent was using a "brainwashing shield" on Princess Melty without a hint of irony. Motoyasu's ignorance places everyone around him in serious danger.

2/10 Josuke Can Be Easily Provoked & Seldom Chooses Diplomacy (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)

Josuke almost never takes a diplomatic approach to defeat the Stand users of Morioh, especially during their first encounter. This was demonstrated during his battles with Terunosuke and, especially, Toyohiro, both of whom would not be redeemed.

Additionally, insults regarding his hair send Josuke into a ballistic rage. It was so profound that he didn't even hesitate to strike Jotaro despite the fact that his relative didn't mean any offense. It remains one of his most sensitive subjects and a weak spot that villains are interested in exploiting.

1/10 Yammy Crushed His Own Comrades Whenever He Felt Like It (Bleach)

Yammy was the strongest servant in service of Sosuke Aizen. His rage was not reserved entirely for the shinigami, however; the giant would often attack his own comrades on a whim and with devastating results.

For example, he crushed the medic that reattached his arm after the initial fight against Ichigo Kurosaki. Yammy also did not hesitate to crush Loly's body and throw her out of a building when she mildly displeased him. Unfortunately for the brute, his overconfidence would prove to be his downfall when attempting to interrupt the fight between Kenpachi and Byakuya.
